Emotional Painting Workshop is a space that expresses personal emotions and inner world through creative painting. Painters interweave inner waves through colors and lines, use nonverbal tools to relieve suppressed emotions, reduce psychological pressure, improve self-awareness, and promote mental health.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Emotion visualization is a process of transforming emotions into concrete images through visual means. As one of the forms of emotional visualization, painting can transform complex emotions into visual elements such as colors, lines, and shapes. For example, by choosing different colors and shapes, artists can express emotions such as anger, happiness, sadness, etc. Research has shown that there is a certain correlation between different colors and emotions, for example, red is often used to express anger, while blue is associated with sadness. In addition, the brushstrokes, line forms, and composition in painting can also convey emotional information, such as rough strokes in anger and soft lines in sadness.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
