Home/Why exhibits only

One product line.
One factory.
One team.

There are two ways to sell into a museum: sell the whole interior, or sell the exhibits inside it. We chose the second, and we have stayed with it since 2020. This page explains what that choice changes — for the price you pay, the date you get, and the machine your visitors will still be using in five years.

What we do

Design, manufacture, install.

Standard models2,066 catalogue units with fixed drawings, control packages and lead times.
Custom buildsExhibits developed to a theme, a space and an age group.
OEMContract manufacturing to your drawings, or to a sample.
InstallationEngineers on site for positioning, commissioning and staff handover.
Spare partsDocumented part numbers and a starter kit with every order.
What we do not do

And we say so
before we quote.

Fit-out contractingCeilings, floors, lighting rigs, graphics and joinery packages.
OperationsRunning venues, ticketing, staffing, education programmes.
ConsultingFeasibility studies, business plans, funding applications.
Content productionFilm, animation and interactive media produced as a standalone service.

If your project needs any of the above, we will say so at enquiry stage and, where we can, point you to partners who do it. We would rather lose the package than subcontract work we do not control.

What the focus changes

Four consequences,
all of them measurable.

Focus is not a slogan. It changes the cost structure, the engineering habit and the kind of order we can accept.

01

A narrower cost structure

We do not carry a fit-out division, a site-management layer or a design consultancy. Structure, sheet metal, acrylic and control cabinets are made in-house. The quotation contains the exhibit and the work needed to make it — not a share of someone else's overhead.

02

Standard models do most of the work

When a catalogue model fits, we quote the catalogue model. The drawing already exists, the jigs already exist, the control code has already been debugged. That is where the price advantage and the short lead time come from — not from cheaper materials.

03

Depth in one subject

Everything we know is about exhibits: mechanisms, sensing, wear, access, tolerances, how a five-year-old and a fifteen-year-old break the same handle in different ways. This is the only thing the team has done, and it is why a design review catches problems before steel is cut.

04

Single units are normal work

A one-unit order costs us no extra process, so we accept it. Small science centres, schools, libraries, hotel lobbies and contractors buying a sample all order from us. Most manufacturers of our size cannot say that.

On price

Competitive price,
not the cheapest quote.

Three things keep our price down, and none of them is a shortcut in the material:

VolumeWe buy steel, sheet, acrylic and control components against a rolling production plan, not against single orders.
ReuseMechanisms, control boards and fittings are shared across models, so tooling and programming cost is spread over hundreds of units.
No layersNothing is subcontracted to a workshop that adds its own margin before the exhibit reaches you.

If a competitor quotes materially less for the same drawing, we will tell you where the difference probably is: thinner sheet, a cheaper drive, fewer test cycles, or a different scope. We would rather you compared properly than won on price and lost on the second year.

On quality

Built for the day
after opening.

Opening day is a photograph. The other 3,000 days are the product. Four habits follow from that:

Wear parts have part numbers

Every handle, bearing, sensor and printed panel is a replaceable module, listed on the drawing.

Test cycle before crating

Full power-up, a run cycle and a fault log that travels with the machine.

Service access by design

Panels open with one tool; cabinets are reachable without dismantling the exhibit.

Spares ship with the order

Consumables and one of each critical module, so a fault does not wait for a shipment.

PLAINLY

We are not the largest exhibit factory, and we do not claim to be. We are a focused one: 2,066 models, four in-house processes, one product line, and a price that comes from that structure rather than from a discount. If that is the supplier you need, we are easy to work with. If you need a turnkey contractor, we will tell you honestly that it is not us.

Start a project

Send us your exhibit list.
We will come back with drawings and a price.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against real drawings, not per-square-metre guesses.
