01 / Overview

Hello, 10000 meters underwater! "On November 13, 2020, the" Striver "and" Canghai "jointly operated, achieving the first 10000 meter underwater live broadcast in human history. The all sea deep video live streaming system has established a real-time communication link, starting from the "Striver", passing through the "Canghai", and then to the surface control center of the "Exploration 2" scientific research ship, and finally transmitted to the CCTV studio through satellite, realizing real-time video dialogue between the Beijing studio and the 10000 meter underwater submersible and scientific researchers.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

The implementation of deep-sea live streaming (with underwater TV live streaming as the core) relies on the collaborative cooperation of lander, micro fiber optic cable, underwater laser technology, and satellite transmission technology, breaking through many difficulties in signal transmission in deep-sea environments. Its essence is a closed-loop signal acquisition transmission presentation of "multi device linkage and multi technology connection". 1、 The smooth development of deep-sea live streaming relies on the support of three core devices, each of which plays its own role and cooperates with each other to form the basic framework of the live streaming system: 1. "Lander": As the core collection terminal of deep-sea live streaming, it needs to be pre deployed to the designated area in the deep sea and is a key hub connecting underwater shooting and signal transmission. It is equipped with high-definition camera equipment, which can capture real-time footage of the "Striver" ship's operations in the deep sea (including cabin footage). At the same time, it integrates signal receiving and forwarding modules, which receive the image signals transmitted by the "Striver" ship while forwarding the signals to the sea.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
