01 / Overview

The exhibit introduces participants to understand the formation process of the ocean through experience and interaction, from macro ocean evolution to specific life processes, and then to the specific area of the South China Sea, achieving a magnificent roaming across reality and virtuality. Understand the importance of the ocean to the Earth's ecology, and inspire awareness and action to protect the marine environment. Viewers can trigger interactive feedback for the corresponding scene by approaching the display wall and floor. Formation of the South China Sea: Focusing on the geological evolution process of the South China Sea, showcasing how geological phenomena such as plate tectonics and volcanic eruptions have created the South China Sea as a stage for life, and prompting people to reflect on the origin and development of life. Life Home: Presenting the wonders and adaptability of life, sparking contemplation on the essence of life, and conveying the message of protecting the diversity of life. Focusing on the South China Sea: Highlighting the biodiversity of the South China Sea, emphasizing the importance of ecological balance, recognizing its vulnerability, and reminding to maintain the ecological balance of the Earth.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
