Offshore energy supply devices refer to energy production, storage, and supply systems established in waters far from the coast, which are currently in the conceptual stage. Due to the problems of low energy density, difficult collection, and unstable supply of single ocean energy sources (such as ocean waves, tidal energy, etc.), it is usually necessary to combine other forms of energy such as wind and solar energy to achieve complementarity. At present, China is promoting an energy revolution that combines multi energy complementarity and energy storage. By jointly collecting offshore energy such as wind energy, tidal energy, and wave energy, coupled power supply can be achieved, which can improve energy utilization efficiency and supply stability.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
The offshore concept device is an innovative offshore equipment that integrates multiple ocean energy and solar energy utilization technologies. Its core scientific principle is to rely on the natural characteristics of ocean and solar energy resources, and convert renewable energy such as wave energy, wind energy, tidal energy, and solar energy into usable electrical energy (or other forms of energy) through dedicated conversion modules, achieving coordinated development and efficient utilization of multiple energy sources, and adapting to the natural environment of offshore waters. The energy capture and conversion of offshore conceptual devices are based on the natural characteristics of the four renewable energy sources, and are achieved through targeted modules. In the principle of wave energy utilization, the device relies on the kinetic and potential energy of waves to achieve energy capture. Seawater is composed of countless seawater particles. Under the action of external forces (mainly wind), seawater particles will undergo periodic motion near the equilibrium point, forming waves. The energy of waves is essentially the kinetic energy generated by the motion of seawater particles on the surface of the ocean and the particles.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
