01 / Overview

Fossil fuel power generation refers to the process of using fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas to generate heat energy through combustion or chemical reactions, which is then converted into electrical energy. Fossil fuels release heat energy during combustion and convert it into mechanical energy through equipment such as steam turbines or gas turbines, ultimately driving generators to generate electricity, providing stable and reliable power supply for industrial production, commercial activities, and residential life. However, the combustion of fossil fuels releases large amounts of carbon dioxide, exacerbating global climate change.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

Coal: The calorific value of standard coal is 7000 kcal/kg, and the carbon dioxide produced per kilogram is 2.620kg. The average power generation efficiency is usually 34%. Petroleum: The calorific value of petroleum is 9200 kcal/kg, and the carbon dioxide produced per kilogram is 3.1kg. The average power generation efficiency is usually 37%. Oil shale: The calorific value is generally 1800 kcal/kg, and the carbon dioxide produced per kilogram is 2.85kg. The average power generation efficiency is usually 35%. Natural gas: The calorific value is 8500 kcal/cubic meter, and the carbon dioxide produced per cubic meter is 1.885kg. The average power generation efficiency is usually 40%. Combustible ice: The calorific value is equivalent to petroleum, about 10000 kcal/kg, and the carbon dioxide produced per kilogram is 0.34kg. The average power generation efficiency is usually 40%.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
