01 / Overview

The Low Carbon Digital Convention is a green behavior initiative jointly formulated and voluntarily followed by residents. It is drafted by residents themselves and brings together low-carbon lifestyles that everyone recognizes and is willing to abide by. By jointly complying with these regulations, community residents can practice energy conservation and emission reduction in their daily lives, promoting the development of the entire community towards a greener and healthier direction.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

The Community Low Carbon Convention is a collection of community low-carbon behavior initiatives that are jointly agreed upon and observed by community residents. Residents are responsible for making their own grass, establishing green and low-carbon behaviors that they identify with, voluntarily abide by, and are willing to advocate for. Clothing: 1 Purchase clothing in moderation. Clothes that are not worn can be exchanged with friends or given away as gifts; two Wear more cotton clothing, synthetic clothing has higher carbon emissions; three It can be confidently said that accumulating enough clothes to wash in a bucket is not because of laziness, but to save water and electricity; four Is drying really necessary? Let your clothes bask in the sun; five Please believe that being obsessed with fur is just a kind of ancestral impulse. Food: 1 Excessive meat consumption can harm at least three objects: animals, yourself, and the Earth. Every Monday is Low Carbon Volunteer Vegetarian Day; two Eating local seasonal fruits and vegetables can reduce carbon emissions from transportation and packaging; three Cooking three meals a day can contribute to household carbon emissions in terms of oil fume emissions.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
