A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.
Modified atmosphere preservation technology is a modern storage concept that artificially controls the proportion of chemical substances such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and ethylene in the gas, as well as factors such as humidity, temperature (above the freezing critical point), and air pressure, on the basis of chilled storage. By inhibiting the respiration rate of stored items, it delays their metabolic process and puts them in a near dormant state rather than a cell death state. Thus, it can maintain the texture, color, taste, nutrition, and other basic properties of the stored items for a long time, achieving the effect of long-term preservation.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
How to suppress the respiration of fruits and vegetables, slow down metabolism, and reduce water loss is an important issue in cold chain logistics. The principle of modified atmosphere preservation technology for fruits and vegetables: The normal oxygen content in the atmosphere is 20.9%, and the carbon dioxide content is 0.03%. Modified atmosphere storage, on the basis of low-temperature storage (temperature is generally controlled within the range of 1-10 ℃, humidity is generally controlled within the range of 80-95%), adjusts the content of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the air, that is, changes the gas composition of the storage environment, reduces the oxygen content to 1% -10%, and increases the carbon dioxide content to 1% -10%. This can suppress the respiration of fresh fruits and vegetables, reduce respiratory intensity, delay the appearance of respiratory peak, slow down metabolism, delay maturity and aging, reduce the decrease and consumption of nutrients and other substances. Low oxygen and high carbon dioxide can also inhibit the biosynthesis of ethylene, weaken its physiological effects, and suppress the occurrence of certain physiological diseases.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
