01 / Overview

This exhibit aims to lead visitors into the fascinating microscopic realm that is difficult to reach through the use of magnifying glasses and microscopes as scientific tools, demonstrating how human innovation in tools enables humans to possess microscopic visual abilities. The exhibits consist of a magnifying glass observation group and a microscope observation group. The core interactive content is that visitors can carefully observe the texture, color, and crystal structure of local ores in Hainan through the magnifying glass, and appreciate the microscopic beauty of local unique organisms in Hainan; The microscope is equipped with carefully prepared primary and secondary school biology experimental specimens, including oral epithelial cells, onion epidermal cells, etc. visitors can operate the microscope by hand to observe the morphology and structure of these cells at the microscopic level. one First, come to the microscope observation group, select the cell specimens of interest (such as oral epithelial cells, onion epidermal cells), operate the microscope by hand, adjust the focus and other components, and explore the microstructure of the specimens Go to the magnifying glass observation group again and observe Hainan through the magnifying glass.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
