A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a technology that utilizes radio frequency signals to achieve contactless information transmission through spatial coupling (alternating magnetic or electromagnetic fields) and automatically identifies the information transmitted. Its emergence changed the way barcodes rely on "tangible" one-dimensional or two-dimensional geometric patterns to provide information, using chips to provide a huge amount of intangible information stored within them.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Radio frequency identification (RFID), as a wireless version of barcodes, identifies specific targets through radio signals. It consists of three parts: electronic tags, antennas, and readers. Its principle is non-contact data communication between readers and tags to achieve the goal of identifying targets. At the same time, it has advantages that barcodes do not have, such as waterproofing, high temperature resistance, long service life, encrypted data on tags, larger information storage capacity, and more flexible information storage. It can recognize both individual and very specific objects, as well as read multiple objects simultaneously. Principle of Radio Frequency Identification System: Firstly, the reader/writer emits specific electromagnetic waves through its antenna. When the electronic tag enters the working range of the transmitting antenna, it will generate induced current and become active, sending the stored information through the antenna; The antenna of the reader/writer receives signals from the electronic tag, then demodulates and decodes the signals before uploading them to the backend host system.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
