Gait refers to the posture and manner in which a person walks, including the movement of footsteps, body movements, and other characteristics. Gait analysis is a technique for evaluating and studying these walking characteristics, widely used in fields such as medical diagnosis, rehabilitation therapy, and sports science. It is of great significance for understanding an individual's health status and movement patterns.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Gait analysis aims to systematically analyze, clinically interpret, and diagnose abnormal movement patterns through biomechanical and kinematic methods, in order to guide the development of personalized intervention plans and objectively evaluate treatment outcomes. Among them, three-dimensional gait analysis can more accurately explore the underlying causes of gait abnormalities. This system is based on biomechanical principles and utilizes computer-aided technology and infrared cameras to accurately collect multidimensional data during human walking. Its monitoring indicators not only include trunk and joint movements, muscle activity, and plantar pressure distribution during gait timing, but also include ground reaction force, joint torque, work done, and oxygen consumption during walking, providing comprehensive and objective scientific basis for clinical diagnosis and rehabilitation evaluation.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
