01 / Overview

Advanced medical imaging technology enables us to have the ability to "see through" the interior of the human body, allowing us to better understand the laws of life, the causes of diseases, and treatment methods. X-rays CT、 Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound imaging, and other techniques have generated a large number of medical images during clinical testing. Gather these images to form a huge medical image library. Relying on the Internet and digital technology, it has brought great convenience to personal health management and doctors' clinical diagnosis and treatment.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

(1) X-ray examination has strong penetration ability, and during the examination, it is like taking a flat image of the body. X-rays are a convenient examination method for observing bones, such as in cases of acute trauma to limbs, spine, and other areas that may damage the bones. (2) Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) utilizes a powerful magnetic field to create images that differentiate between normal and diseased tissues based on the vibration differences of water in different tissues. The diagnostic effect on lesions in soft tissue, brain, spinal cord, nerves, blood vessels, intervertebral discs, joint cartilage, and other areas is significantly better than other examinations. (3) B-ultrasound is the use of ultrasound to penetrate the human body. When sound waves encounter human tissue, they produce reflected waves, and the reflected echo is the B-ultrasound image. There are unique features in detecting human soft tissues and observing the hemodynamics of cardiovascular organs, such as prenatal examinations, superficial masses, blood vessels, and puncture localization.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
