01 / Overview

The change in gene base sequence caused by base substitution, addition, or deletion in DNA molecules is called gene mutation. Inheritable genetic mutations result in offspring developing new traits that their ancestors never had before. Many phenomena in daily life that are seen as differences in physical constitution or personal preferences, such as facial hair loss from drinking alcohol, sudden loss of hair, and not eating coriander, may be caused by genetic mutations. By identifying the genetic mutation points, we can find the real reasons for these phenomena.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

As the fundamental genetic unit that controls biological traits, genes transcend time and space, passing down from our ancestors through generations. During the process of inheritance, they gradually undergo subtle variations due to external factors such as environment and lifestyle habits. This mutation, accumulated over the course of history, may exhibit a uniqueness that is unparalleled among different populations. one Do you hate eating coriander? That's not your fault: Gene locus: chromosome 11 (OR6A2) Gene description: Specific olfactory receptor gene, particularly sensitive to aldehyde chemicals (the root of coriander's unique taste). two Blushing face, good alcohol tolerance? Perhaps it's a resistance signal from the body: Gene locus: chromosome 12 (ALDH2) Gene description: Approximately 8% of people worldwide carry this gene mutation, about 36% of East Asians blush when drinking alcohol, and the proportion of Chinese people is about 40%, hence it's called "Asian Red". three always.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
