01 / Overview

The digital age has brought us convenience, but also challenges such as false information, information cocoons, privacy protection, and data security risks. The differences in opinions among different groups of people on these issues stem from the diversity of culture, age, occupation, and educational background. Here, you will gain an interactive experience to understand others' perspectives on digital civilization and rethink your role in the digital world. Through communication, we work together to build an inclusive and diverse digital future, making the digital world safer and more open.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

In the digital world, different people have different views and attitudes on technology, the Internet, data privacy, network security and other issues. The differences in these views may stem from various factors, such as cultural background, occupational status, age differences, educational level, economic status, etc. Understanding these different perspectives is crucial for building an inclusive and diverse digital world. Through interaction and dialogue, we can strive to reduce misunderstandings and promote understanding and cooperation between different groups.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
