01 / Overview

In the past, information transmission was slow and interpersonal communication had to wait. Nowadays, information transmission is fast and convenient, and the Internet of Things is the foundation of digital civilization. The Internet has built a high-speed channel for global data transmission, and the Internet of Things has realized real-time data exchange, making people, things, and data more closely and efficiently connected. Intelligent technology promotes the deep integration of reality and the digital world, improving efficiency and convenience in various fields. The global Internet and the Internet of Things build a highly interconnected world. Information is transmitted instantaneously, making life more convenient and shortening the distance between people and people.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

The Internet is a worldwide computer network composed of various types and scales of independently operated and managed computer networks. The computer networks that make up the Internet include the local area network (LAN), metropolitan area network (MAN) and large-scale wide area network (WAN). These networks connect universities, companies, research institutions, military and government organizations from different countries through communication lines such as regular telephone lines, high-speed dedicated lines, satellites, microwaves, and optical cables. The basic protocol used for Internet interconnection is TCP/IP. The Internet Exchange Center (IXP) is a key intersection point for smooth network operation. At this intersection, various networks (such as network service providers, large enterprises, academic research institutions) will gather in order to exchange data more effectively. If you think of the Internet as a transportation system.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
