01 / Overview

This exhibit aims to allow visitors to visually observe Tesla discharge phenomena and understand electromagnetic resonance related knowledge under the guidance of the administrator. The exhibit mainly consists of Tesla coils, rotating discharge needles, colored lamps, and inert gas balls. The core principle is that Tesla coils can generate millions of volts of ground voltage and form a discharge phenomenon through electromagnetic resonance, and the generation and extinguishing of the arc are controlled by music waves. Therefore, when the arc penetrates the air, the music waveform will be converted into air vibration, presenting the magical effect of arc playing music, allowing visitors to experience the charm of electromagnetics in a stunning visual and auditory experience Under the arrangement of the staff, proceed to the viewing area of the exhibit in an orderly manner and stand for 2 Maintain a safe distance, watch the discharge demonstration of the exhibit quietly, and experience the effect of the linkage between arc phenomenon and music. Principle of linkage between arc and music: The exhibit controls the generation and extinguishing rhythm of the arc through music waves. When the arc penetrates the air, the signal corresponding to the music waveform will be converted.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
