01 / Overview

This exhibit the phenomenon of seven colored light caused by the refraction of light through electromechanical interaction. The exhibit consists of a projection screen, a rotating mechanism, a prism, an operating table, a hanging device, and a light source. The operating table is equipped with three interactive positions, and visitors can control the angle of the prism by turning the knob. After the light is dispersed by the prism, it presents a brilliant rainbow on the upper canvas (projection screen), allowing viewers to directly experience the charm of light dispersion. Operating Instructions 1 Press the exhibit start button to activate the interactive device. two Rotate the knob on the control panel to control the rotation angle of the prism. three Observe the magnificent scene of artificial rainbow presented on the projection screen (upper canvas). Principles of Science 1 Dispersion of light: refers to the phenomenon in which polychromatic light is decomposed into monochromatic light. When white light or other polychromatic light passes through a prism, it will be decomposed into colored light bands (spectra) due to the different refractive indices of light at different frequencies Implementation principle of the device: The polychromatic light emitted by the light source illuminates three. Prism, through a prism.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
