01 / Overview

The exhibit features a combination of large-scale vehicle road collaborative interactive scenes and touch screens. The demonstration area for vehicle to vehicle collaboration is located in the bustling urban area within the interactive scene. The interactive touch screen will replicate the sand table map, with interactive points for collaborative scenarios between vehicles distributed on the map. Visitors can watch vehicle scenario demonstrations in interactive scenes by clicking on the touch screen, and understand the specific applications of vehicle to vehicle collaboration technology in daily life.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

Vehicle to vehicle collaboration (V2V) technology relies on wireless communication protocols to achieve information exchange and data sharing between vehicles. By constructing an intelligent collaborative network between vehicles, vehicles can perceive each other and predict their behavior, thereby achieving collaborative decision-making (CDM). This technology can greatly improve road traffic safety and efficiency.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
