01 / Overview

The atmosphere of Mars contains a large amount of dust, and dust storms often occur. Sometimes dust storms can cover the entire planet and last for weeks or even months. Faced with the extreme environment on Mars, scientists have proposed a series of innovative architectural solutions such as dome houses, treehouses, inflatable houses, underground caves, etc. to address the survival challenges of living on Mars. With the advancement of technology and the deepening of research, humans are expected to establish a habitable base on Mars.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

Establishing an extraterrestrial city is one of humanity's dreams. The biggest challenge for humans to truly establish a foothold on Mars is how to develop safe habitats, and the primary challenge is how to adapt to the Martian environment. one Gravity. The gravity of Mars is much lower than that of Earth. The gravitational acceleration is about 3.7 square meters per second, while on Earth it is 9.8 square meters per second. two Air pressure. The atmosphere of Mars is very thin, with surface pressure only about 1% of that of Earth. This low pressure will suck up all the oxygen in the human blood, so humans need a pressurized environment to survive. In order to withstand the pressure difference between inside and outside, the building structure of Mars residences needs to be very sturdy. three Temperature. Mars has a small volume, resulting in rapid internal heat dissipation and extreme temperature fluctuations. The equatorial surface temperature drops from+20 ° C at noon to -73 ° C at night. Therefore, residential buildings on Mars need good insulation to maintain stable internal temperatures.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
