A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.
Average face refers to extracting facial features from a certain number of ordinary faces, synthesizing faces using computer technology based on the average measurement data, and this synthesized average face is often a "perfect" face that can be recognized by more people. Professor Langlova from the University of Texas in the United States collected numerous photos and synthesized faces using a special computer program to explore how people judge beauty. Through the synthesis of a large number of samples, it was found that the more faces used for synthesis, the more beautiful the final synthesized face, indicating that attractive faces tend to approach the average of the total number of faces.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
The "Face Experiment" was designed by a psychology professor named Langlova at the University of Texas in the United States. Since the 1980s, he has been pondering a question: how do people judge beauty? Later, he came up with a way to conduct experiments. He collected many photos of people and then used a special computer program to synthesize their faces. Conclusion: The more faces used for synthesis, the more beautiful the final synthesized face will be. For example, the final face synthesized from two faces is uglier than the face synthesized from four faces. The final face synthesized from 16 faces is more beautiful than the one synthesized from 8 faces. This is a very interesting experiment that directly tells us that beauty is actually average.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
