AR intelligent picking refers to the use of AR glasses or devices to automatically recognize the warehouse environment, locate the location of goods to be picked, and automatically plan the picking path, guiding operators to reach the target picking location in the shortest possible time. The AR glasses or devices automatically scan the barcode of the goods to complete the picking process.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Traditional manual picking solutions use handheld RF (Radio Frequency) picking, electronic tag picking (Pick to Light), or voice directed picking methods. Picking personnel pick up goods from the shelves based on the indicator lights on the shelves, handheld RF, and prompts on wearable devices. Although the traditional manual picking method improves the accuracy of the operation, it requires the picking personnel to be familiar with the layout of the warehouse. By using augmented reality (AR) technology to seamlessly integrate information from the real and virtual worlds, the warehouse environment is automatically recognized through AR glasses or devices, the location of goods to be picked is located, and the picking path is automatically planned. Route navigation is established to guide operators to reach the target picking location in the shortest possible time. Through AR glasses.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
