Ball screw is a transmission component that converts rotational motion into linear motion and is widely used in high-precision mechanical equipment. It is one of the key components in industrial mother machines. Ball screws are mainly composed of screws, nuts, and balls. By rolling the balls between the nuts and screws, low friction and high efficiency transmission is achieved, which can withstand large loads and provide high-precision linear motion.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
The transmission system is an important "thread" of CNC machine tools, leading the orderly operation of various parts of the machine tool and completing the work mission of the machine tool. Ball screws play an important role in the transmission system. Its main function is to convert rotational motion into linear motion or torque into axial repetitive force, transforming bearings from rolling action to sliding action, while also possessing the characteristics of high precision, reversibility, and high efficiency. A ball screw is mainly composed of a screw and a nut, each with matching spiral grooves and rolling balls between these grooves, providing unique contact between the nut and the screw. When the screw rotates relative to the nut, the rotation of the screw pushes the ball to move the nut axially. At the same time, the ball rolls along the spiral groove, transforming the sliding friction between the screw and nut into rolling friction between the ball and the screw nut. The ball returns from one end to the other through the return system, forming a continuous cycle in a closed circuit. Spiral screw and ball screw.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
