China High-Speed Rail

The exhibit the "fully automatic hook and buffer device" of the "Fuxing" high-speed train through an electromechanical interactive model, to understand the technological innovation and research and development achievements of China's high-speed rail.

Interaction type: Scale model + electromechanical. The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

The exhibit consists of an interactive booth, a sapphire countertop, a push rod device, a Fuxing model, a hook interactive mechanism, and a protective cover. A mechanical demonstration device with a fully automatic hook and buffer system and a sectional middle car hook model are set up on the booth. The demonstration model is placed on a slide rail, and visitors pushes the push rod. The motor drives the left model to move to the right, completing the docking action with the right front of the car, thus understanding the basic principles of the docking technology of the Fuxing.
