A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.

Information compression is the process of processing data through algorithms to reduce its size for storage or transmission; Decompression is the reverse process, restoring the original data. Huffman coding is a classic data compression technique. It assigns short codes to frequently occurring characters and long codes to less frequently occurring characters based on their frequency of occurrence, thereby achieving data compression.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
Digital signals are stored in binary form, and people have found that using encoding of the same length can easily consume too much computer resources. Huffman proposed a data compression method in 1952, which represents frequently occurring characters or character sequences with shorter encoding, and less frequently occurring characters or character sequences with longer encoding, in order to achieve the goal of compressing data. Huffman coding is not a fixed set of codes, it dynamically generates a coding table based on the frequency of each character in the given information.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
