01 / Overview

Create the exterior and interior environment of a bus, embed a TV in the window position to simulate the scene outside the window. By simulating a real bus accident, visitors can participate in learning about evacuation knowledge and simulating the evacuation process to understand bus fire prevention and evacuation skills. In addition, the markings in front of the bus design explain the relevant knowledge of inner wheel difference.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

In daily life, bus accidents are not uncommon. Once a car burns, the most important escape routes are the doors and windows, especially the windows, which must be well utilized. After an accident, quickly search for the escape hammers hanging on both sides of the car. Take the small hammer off the rack and use the pointed end to strike it towards the middle of the glass. The glass will crack radially and shatter with a kick, allowing everyone to escape through the window.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
