The phenomenon of sinking a ship by changing the density of water through bubbles, and understanding the law of buoyancy. The exhibit consists of a cylindrical water tank and a pressing rod, with a model of a motorboat placed inside the water tank. visitors pressed the handle, causing a large number of bubbles to appear at the bottom of the water tank, and the bubbles rose up to near the model of the motorboat. Due to the decrease in density of the mixture of water and gas after the gas enters the water, the buoyancy on the floating ship also decreases. As the gas in the water increases, the ship will slowly sink into the water. visitors can observe that as the bubbles rise, squeeze, and burst, the model of the motorboat will lose balance on the water surface and gradually sink to the bottom. Target audience: Adolescents aged 6-15. Display format: Electromechanical interactive device operation instructions (audience experience) 1 Press the handle to create a large number of bubbles at the bottom of the water tank, which will rise to the vicinity of the motorboat model; 2. Observe the loss of the airship model on the water surface as bubbles rise, squeeze, and rupture.
Interaction type: Interactive installation. The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
1. Buoyancy: The magnitude of buoyancy experienced by an object in a liquid is only related to its displacement from the liquid volume and density, and is independent of factors such as the object's density, motion state, and depth of immersion in the liquid. In water, objects with higher density than water will sink, such as stones and iron blocks; Objects with lower density than water will rise, such as plastic and wood, and the same pattern exists in other liquids and gases. For example, wood can float in water, and ships can navigate in the ocean due to buoyancy contributions. Buoyancy comes from the pressure difference between the upper and lower surfaces of an object, which is opposite to gravity. It can be simply understood as follows: gravity pulls all objects that want to run back to the ground, while buoyancy helps objects leave the ground. 2. Archimedes' principle: Archimedes' law is an important principle in fluid statics, which states that an object immersed in a stationary fluid experiences a buoyancy force.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
