01 / Overview

This exhibit allows participants to understand radiation knowledge and intuitively feel the existence of radiation through interactive experiences. The exhibit are divided into two groups, one consisting of a design booth, a lead room, a radiation measuring instrument (Geiger counter), interactive items, etc; The other group is equipped with a touch screen and touch screen cover. The core interactive logic is: the lead chamber can isolate radiation in the air, and there is a Geiger counter inside. visitors can put five items in the storage slot or their own mobile phone into the lead chamber, and the outer digital tube will display the radiation value in real time; Another group simulated the Wilson Cloud Chamber (a device that displays ionized particle tracks) through a screen, allowing visitors to visually see the relevant traces of radioactive material with the naked eye. Through two sets of interactions, help participants establish a basic understanding of radiation. one Step into the exhibit, select different substances from the storage slot (or take out your own phone), place them in the lead chamber of the first set of exhibit, and observe the difference in radiation values displayed on the outer digital tube Go to the second exhibit hall.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
