01 / Overview

Solve mathematical problems through interactive models and learn how to master mathematical thinking. The exhibit is an interactive table, on which various mathematical problems and their exploration models are placed. visitors can sit down and focus on understanding these problems and trying to solve them. This exhibit includes multiple small interactive mathematical puzzle games: Tower of Brahma (Bridge of Brahma), Luban Lock, Huarong Dao, Nine Rings, Three dimensional Tangram, Hexagonal Prism, Topology Game, Circle Area Deduction, Seven Bridge Problem, Four Color Theorem, etc. Target audience: Adolescents aged 6-15. Interactive model operation instructions (audience experience) 1 visitors hands-on operates mathematical games. Describe the intrinsic connections between storylines and exhibits, and explore the fundamental knowledge of mathematics to broaden mathematical thinking.

02 / How visitors use it

Interaction type: Interactive model. The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

1. The Hanoi Tower, also known as the River Tower, is a puzzle toy originating from an ancient Indian legend. When the Great Brahma created the world, he made three diamond pillars and stacked 64 golden disks in order of size from bottom to top on one pillar. Brahma ordered the Brahmins to rearrange the disk in order of size from below onto another pillar. And it is stipulated that the disk cannot be enlarged on the small disk, and only one disk can be moved at a time between the three pillars. 2. Luban Lock, also known as Kongming Lock or Bagua Lock in folk culture. Legend has it that during the Spring and Autumn period, the craftsman Lu Ban of the State of Lu used six wooden strips to make a detachable toy to test his son's intelligence. He asked his son to open it, but after a busy night, he finally opened it. This type of toy later became known as the Lu Ban Lock. In fact, this is just a legend. The Luban Lock, also known as Kongming Lock, Bie Meng Stick, Liuzi Lianfang, Monehe, Difficult Man Wood, etc., originated from.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
