01 / Overview

Exhibits Introduction: This exhibit uses mechanical interaction to allow visitors to understand the purpose and function of filters, as well as knowledge of natural light spectral bands. At the same time, through interactive projection on the wall, visitors can experience the magical light and shadow phenomena in nature. The exhibit consists of wall background paintings, filter devices, animal touch interactive devices, and background sound effects. Visitors can choose different color filters to observe changes in the wall image, and also participate in the "animal guessing" interaction, which is accompanied by scene sound effects to enrich the fun experience of the space. Operating Instructions 1 Choose different color filters, observe the changes in the wall background painting through the filters, and feel the influence of the filters on light and shadow Insert your hand into the animal box, touch the animal simulation model in the box, and guess the type of animal you are touching. The principle of light and shadow phenomenon: the color of the wall background painting is presented by multiple colored lights. When observed through the filter, only the colored light that matches the filter can penetrate and enter the human eye, while other colored lights are absorbed.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
