01 / Overview

This exhibit allows participants to understand the vibration of sound, the properties of sound waves, and other knowledge through interactive experiences. The exhibit mainly consists of guitars, drums, display components, and shelves. visitors can observe the swinging of the guitar strings under normal conditions by plucking them; After rotating the drum and plucking the strings again, a special oscillation phenomenon can be observed; Stepping on the foot pedal under the rack and adjusting the force can change the observed ripple shape, and with the help of the monitor video, understand relevant knowledge. one Entering the exhibit, first rotate the drum, then pluck the guitar strings and observe the ripple shape of the strings Gently step on the foot pedal under the rack and gradually increase the force, observing the changes in sound and ripples Watch the video displayed on the exhibit monitor to gain a deeper understanding of sound vibration and the properties of sound waves. Rotating the drum changes the reference angle for observing string vibration, presenting the vibration form of the string in a ripple form; Stepping on the foot pedal can adjust the relevant device parameters.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
