A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.

01 / Overview

By simulating interactive waveforms, understand the principle of wave superposition. The two handles of the exhibit respectively control the translation of the upper and lower sliding modules. The sliding module located below has a fixed waveform; The sliding module above is a wave composed of copper rods, and the amplitude of the wave is given by the height of the golden rod, which can vary with the up and down movement of the rod. Target audience: Adolescents aged 6-15 years old. Interactive display device operation instructions (audience experience) 1 By moving the relative position of two waves, 2 Understand the superposition principle of waves, as well as the principles of constructive and destructive interference. Describing the intrinsic connections between storylines and exhibits through wave theory and the principle of wave superposition.

02 / How visitors use it

Interaction type: Interactive installation. The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

If two waves are in phase, there is constructive interference: the combined amplitude is large, equal to the sum of the amplitudes of the two waves; If two waves are in opposite phases, there is destructive interference: the synthesized amplitude is small, equal to the difference between the amplitudes of the two waves; In general, two waves are neither in phase nor out of phase. The synthesized amplitude is between two extremes. Reference materials.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
