01 / Overview

From paper to chips, from wired to wireless, from communication between you and me, to the intelligent connection of all things. The development process of communication technology is full of legends and innovations. On this long road, the innovative stories of countless scientists have written a magnificent epic of the evolution of communication technology. Maxwell - founder of classical electromagnetic theory von Neumann - father of modern computers Turing - father of artificial intelligence Shannon - pioneer of the information age Gao Kun - father of fiber optic communication.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

From early telegraph and telephone to modern wireless communication and Internet technology, every major breakthrough is inseparable from the efforts and contributions of scientists. The important role of scientists in the history of communication technology development is reflected in their continuous exploration and innovation. Their discoveries and technological innovations not only promote the progress of communication technology, but also greatly change people's lifestyles, becoming an important driving force for social development. Alan Turing (1912-1954) was a British mathematician and logician, known as the "father of computer science" and "father of artificial intelligence". He proposed the famous "Turing machine" and "Turing test", and his paper "Computers and Intelligence" (1950) is the pioneering work of artificial intelligence. Turing assisted the military in cracking the German cryptographic system Enigma during World War II. Unfortunately, the young Turing died on the bed at home, with a bite soaked in cyanide placed at the head of the bed.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
