A standard catalogue model: the dimensions, control package and finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and interface language can be adapted without a new design cycle.

The brainstem is an important life center in the human body, although only the size of a human thumb, it controls basic life functions such as breathing and heartbeat.
The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
The brainstem is located below the brain, between the spinal cord and the diencephalon, and is a smaller part of the central nervous system in an irregular cylindrical shape. The brainstem is composed of three parts from bottom to top: medulla oblongata, pons, and midbrain. The medulla oblongata is partially connected to the spinal cord. The brainstem is the part of the spinal cord that extends upwards, with its lower end connected to the spinal cord and its upper end connected to the brain. The brainstem can be divided into medulla oblongata, pons, and midbrain from bottom to top. The main function of the brainstem is to maintain individual life. A series of important physiological functions, including heartbeat, breathing, and digestion, are all related to the brainstem.
Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
