01 / Overview

Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of computer technology, especially the application of computer-generated imagery (CGI) technology, the rise of digital cinema has been promoted, ushering in the third revolution in the film industry. Toy Story, produced by Pixar Animation Studios in 1995, was the first CGI animated film where visitors could simulate and experience the modeling process at the time and understand computer-generated image technology.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / The science behind it

Throughout the history of cinema, movies have evolved from silent to sound, black and white to color. With the rapid development of computer technology in the 21st century, the rise of digital cinema has undoubtedly become the third revolution in the film industry, with the most important being the use of CGI technology. Toy Story, as the first computer-generated imagery (CGI) animated film, was produced by Pixar Animation Studios in 1995 and was the first full-length animated film to be entirely produced using computer-generated imagery technology. This breakthrough achievement marks the emergence of CGI technology in film production, changing the way animated films are made and paving the way for later CGI films. Starting from Toy Story, 3D computer animation (CG animation) officially entered the historical stage and led a new round of animation industry revolution. Today, 3D animation (CG animation) is not only used in movies, but also widely used in various industries! Nowadays, I want to work for CG.

04 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.

Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
