Remember the mission, dare to explore and try

This unit includes two exhibit: "Leading the Flag of Science and Technology Security" and "Shenzhen's Responsibility to Serve the National High level Science and Technology Independence and Self improvement". The exhibit "Leading the Flag of Science and Technology Security" showcases the planning and deployment of the Party Central Committee led by General Secretary Xi Jinping to Guangdong Province for the development of Shenzhen through interactive forms of folding screens and touch screens. Shenzhen always remembers General Secretary Xi Jinping's earnest instructions and the historical mission given by the Party Central Committee, solidly promotes high-level technological self-reliance and self-improvement, improves the institutional mechanisms for accelerating the development of new quality productive forces and building a modern industrial system, and provides important support for building a more globally influential economic center city and a modern international metropolis. The exhibit "Shenzhen's Responsibility to Serve the National High Level Science and Technology Independence and Self Strengthening" showcases the unwavering implementation of the innovation driven development strategy since the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, continuously building a secure foundation for scientific and technological innovation, and achieving a mutually beneficial relationship between scientific and technological development and security, through the use of pull-out graphics and interactive multimedia.

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.
