01 / Overview

In April 2023, Mr. Guo, the legal representative of a technology company in Fuzhou, received a WeChat video call from his friend. The friend chatted with him for a few words and then said that he had a friend who was participating in bidding in another city and needed to borrow Mr. Guo's company's corporate account to transfer a deposit of 4.3 million yuan. My friend also sent Mr. Guo a screenshot of the bank transfer receipt, saying that the money had been transferred to Mr. Guo's account. After watching the video, Mr. Guo thought that his friend's appearance and voice were not a problem, so he did not verify whether the account had received the money. Therefore, he transferred 4.3 million yuan in two installments to the account designated by his friend. After transferring the money, Mr. Guo sent a WeChat message to his friend, telling him that it had been processed. I didn't expect my friend to reply with a question mark. Mr. Guo quickly called his friend and found out that he had no idea about this matter. Originally, scammers used intelligent AI face swapping technology to impersonate friends and commit fraud against him.

02 / How visitors use it

The unit is designed for unsupervised public use: controls are recessed or shielded, moving parts are enclosed, and the interface is operable by a child of about six with no instruction. Where a screen is used, the language can be switched without changing the hardware, and the content can be replaced on site.

03 / Built for a public floor

Every unit leaves the factory after a running test: mechanisms cycled, electronics burned in, edges dressed, fixings torqued and marked. Wear parts — bearings, sliders, lamps, belts, touch panels — are modular and listed on the spare-part sheet, so a venue technician can replace them without returning the exhibit. Crating is plywood with foam blocking; the loading plan and packing list travel with the shipment.
