A standard element: the geometry and the finish are fixed, which is what keeps the price and the lead time predictable. Size, colour and the way it mounts to the basin can be adapted without a new design cycle.
A two-metre spoked wheel carrying coloured scoop sections between the spokes. Water is pumped into the top of the wheel and the wheel turns under its weight; the scoops pick up water from the basin on the way round and lift it to a header tank.
Two effects at once. The wheel is an undershot water wheel — moving water turns it — and the scoops between the spokes make it a lifting wheel. Because the rim is open, visitors can see both at the same time, which is the point.
Work the pump to start the wheel, then watch which scoops are full and which are empty. The painted sections make the rotation readable from across the room.
The largest single element in the range and usually the visual anchor of a basin. Needs a clear 2.1 m of apron on the pump side; the wheel itself overhangs the water.
Other elements from the same group. All held to the same specification, the same material palette and the same control package.

An open helical screw that lifts water two metres by hand.

A chain of small buckets on a wheel — the oldest water lift there is.

Fills until it is top-heavy, then dumps itself. Nobody has to explain it.

A model dam with working gates — hold the water back, then let it go.
Attach a theme outline, a floor plan, or nothing at all — a photo of the space is enough to start. Quotations are issued against a real exhibit list, not per-square-metre guesses.
